From timeless stonework and careful restoration to repairs, pointing and masonry painting — we look after the homes and buildings of Peterborough and the surrounding areas with pride.

We completed the full repoint of this 18th-century rectory building in Peterborough — a substantial job carried out with care from start to finish.
Existing cement and lime pointing, mortar repairs and weathered stones were chopped out and repointed using a lime mortar, with new stones introduced where needed.
An old rotten lintel was replaced with a new oak lintel, and the lintels, gutters and bay window were also repainted to finish the work off properly.
Traditional lime mortars matched to your stone — breathable, period-correct.
Sympathetic repair, replacement and consolidation of weathered stonework.
From cottages and barns to manor houses, walls, chimneys and full façades.

With over a decade of experience, we've had the pleasure of caring for all sorts of beautiful old buildings — churches, cottages, rectories, manors and everything in between. Cement pointing traps moisture and quietly destroys soft stone, so we work exclusively with traditional lime mortars: colour-matched, hand-mixed and applied the way these buildings were built to last.

We share our latest stonework, restorations and repointing jobs over on Instagram and Facebook — follow along to see the work up close.
